Hey everyone!
Just a few updates on the happenings in my life.
-November officially started which means that National novel writing month started so I've been trying to write a 50,000 word novel this month. I'm a little behind right now (I'm at a little over 9000 words and I should be about 3000 more words ahead...) but I'll hopefully have some time to catch up on things once my work week ends. I hope to someday get it published so we'll see what happens. For now, November is for regurgitating my ideas onto Microsoft Word so I get things done on time.
-I start my scuba class tomorrow. I'm REALLY excited! : D I've been reading my scuba text book so hopefully I'm ready for it. With all of my novel writing, text book reading, and my going to Orem institute on UVU's campus, it almost feels like I'm back in school again. : P
-Went to my book group this Friday. We'd read two books, "The Secret Life of Bees" and "Charms for the Easy Life", which were both good reads. Two of my friends brought their kids so it was fun watching Annie and Lorenzo get into EVERYTHING.
-Last night I we had a bonfire/fireside. It turned out really well except for the fact that construction on the highway was bad so a lot of people got lost. Oh well, you live and learn.
Well, I need to keep hacking away at my book. Until next week then.
