Tonight I got a call from ER from a guy asking if we had run a Fecal WBC count on one of his patients. As we closed the phone call he said "That poop is the only thing keeping me from going home." That's not something you hear every day. Not something I like hearing since it means I have to go back to micro and run the test. Poop is gross. Other sick peoples' poop redefines that word.
So I'm kind of excited for this Wednesday since I'm taking a road trip to Rexburg to visit my best friend, Deseret Scott. She fits into that category of people that is always up for an adventure and can make me laugh so hard that my abs get sore. So far here is our to do list:
1. Snowboarding
2. Go to the movies
3. Swimming (they have an indoor pool)
4. Dancing
5. Make and eat pies for Pi Day
6. Do "stuff"
Its going to be awesome. I mentioned in my last post how I'd been feeling restless and I think getting out of Provo is just what the doctor ordered.
I think the other cure for that is for me to revamp my personal goals. I've been taking voice lessons and training for a half marathon but I haven't really focused on too much else as of late. This is me brainstorming things to add to my bucket list. If anyone ever does start to read this they can feel free to add suggestions as well. In case you haven't noticed, I'm using this more like a public journal anyways.
1. Garden. I had snap peas last summer but I think I want something that'll hold out a little later in the season. Maybe some cherry tomatoes. I probably need to consult Aaron about that...
2. Grand Canyon? CA? Vegas? There are a lot of places I want to travel to and I want to make better use of my spring/summer and actually travel to these places. Hopefully I won't have to travel solo but I'm holding to my "if you wait for people to come with you you'll NEVER get to see anything" motto. At some point I'll make a more detailed list of places I could easily visit in a week.
3. Scuba Diving
4. Write a children's book
5. Write a song
mEH... work happened so this entry will have to be continued another time. I definitely had 2 FWBC tests tonight.
