Have you ever thought to yourself "Well, at least that isn't me?" I've realized that it usually gets me into trouble, especially in regards to callings. I really ought to know better than to let myself have such trains of thought because they always come back to haunt me. Well, I've made the mistake again and there's no fixing it now...
So once upon a time there was a girl named Jill who was Activities Committee co-chair in her ward with a boy named Mike. Mike later got called to be stake Activities Committee co-chair and Jill got released. "Well, at least that isn't my calling." Jill said as she accepted a lighter VT Coordinator calling. Its been a few months and Mike recently started slipping hints. Said hints were confirmed when I got asked to go to President Lewis' office. I guess things'll be busy this summer now that I am a Stake Activities Committee co-chair as well as a VT Coordinator.
