So, to get to the point, I got an e-mail last night saying I didn't get the job but they'd be interested in considering me further for a future core lab position... Which makes me inclined to think that they found someone who was up to par in both Blood Bank and Core Lab. I don't blame them but this does put me in an unfortunate situation.
To move or not to move... That is the question. I don't want to move if I don't have a job lined up. It shouldn't be too hard to get a Med Tech position but I LOVE my job here and I don't want to take just ANY job. I don't want to sign a contract in Provo and find out a week or month later that a new position opened up and then have to figure out what to do about a housing contract AND a deal with moving on top of it... I can see some benefits to staying (Good job, friends, familiarity, dating, etc.) but I can see benefits to flat out moving, even if I don't have a job lined up in the foreseeable future (new friends, new dating scene, new adventures, etc).
I'm going to the temple to brood. Hopefully I can figure my life out... I just wish I had thought out a clear plan B so that when this moment came I wouldn't feel so lost about what I'm doing with my life...
