Shadow

I love the idea of you, your shadow,
The outline of your soul carved from my own imaginings.
A silhouette, a dream of what you could be, what I wish you to be,
I fill this dark empty shell with my own foolish heart
Then I hold tight, listening, waiting for the whole to come to life.
It flutters, I press harder, I can almost feel you breath
I know this isn't real, but I don't want to believe
That when you walk away, when the light shifts
There'll be nothing left
Just my own bleeding heart

I've started using an LDSlinkup.com. Yes, thats a dating website. I've heard success stories. However, I haven't decided if its a good thing for me yet since its hard to get to know the REAL person through messages, profiles and pictures. With Meyer Briggs personality test I've always come out ENFJ, the N implying that I'm one who gets caught up on ideas and possibilities, not the dry facts. I guess so long as I don't let Mr. Texan PhD or Avid Swing Dancing Bookworm take precedence over the men who are right in front of me...

I'm going to run to the library now. After that I need to study my German, figure out the rest of my life, and move on from there....
