Halloween is coming up and I feel like I need to make the most of this holiday. The way I see it, I'll be in a new social scene and which costume I pick could label me as the life of the party or a social outcast. Here are a few ideas I thought could be fun. If you have a favorite, let me know.
Okay, I wouldn't be wearing this one... But half of you guys have babies and I figure SOMEBODY could use this idea. I think its absolutely, fantastically adorable.
#1 Jellyfish
I think I would try to combine a few of these methods and make something that would be colorful with the lights and stuff but more of a hat style rather than an umbrella style. I feel like this one is rather unique and quirky but it might get annoying to have all of those streamers in one's face.
#2 Medusa
It would be easy enough to get some dollar store plastic snakes, a sheet, and then do some crazy make up to look Gorgonesque. I think that it would be a lot more feminine and look rather cool but I am stealing this idea from another friend and my friend Deseret from home said she liked the idea enough to want to do it too. Of course, neither girl would be here so that doesn't really matter too much does it.
#3 Mary Poppins
This one would take a little bit more work to put together since I don't have the right clothes on hand, but I would totally be able to wear a simple dress and blouse like hers again... The hat would be easy enough to make too. Who doesn't want to look practically perfect in every way?
#4 Staphylococcus
Not to be confused with "a bunch of grapes". I think it would be fun and it might be amusing to confuse the unmicrobiological. Then again, I think this one might be a little bit uncomfortable depending on the balloon placement and might be a tad bit too nerdy to wear amongst strangers.
